On Nov 25, CSSCdelivered the first 175000 cubic meter large Mark III Flex membrane liquefied natural gas (LNG) transport ship "AL SHELILA" for Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), named and delivered two months ahead of schedule, striving to achieve the fourth quarter target mission and laying a solid foundation for subsequent ship construction and delivery.

The large LNG transport ship was built by CSSC's Jiangnan Shipbuilding and signed contracts for the construction of six 175000 cubic meter LNG transport ships in 2022. This project order is China's first order for a leading international oil and gas company in the field of large LNG transport ships.

This type of ship is the first generation 175000 cubic meter MARK III Flex membrane LNG transport ship ("LNG JUMBO") independently developed and designed by Jiangnan Shipbuilding. It meets the latest regulatory requirements, has mainstream, reliable, energy-saving and environmentally friendly characteristics, and its comprehensive economic performance indicators have reached the international advanced level.
