At the launch ceremony, Wang Guoqiang stated that in recent years, CSSC has vigorously pursued a transformation and development strategy focused on green, intelligent, shared, and ecological initiatives. The company has actively developed green and low-carbon power equipment, including methanol-fueled engines, leading the development of global green and low-carbon ship designs.

The WinGD X92DF-M-1.0 methanol dual-fuel main engine, unveiled globally this time, is the world's highest-power methanol dual-fuel marine engine independently developed by WinGD, a subsidiary of CSSC. It aligns with the global marine industry's trends toward green energy, low-carbon emissions, and environmental protection, while closely addressing customer needs. The engine boasts multiple advantages, including excellent energy efficiency, high operational performance, and low maintenance costs.

Wang Guoqiang emphasized that the green transformation of the shipping industry is not only a technological revolution but also an inevitable choice for humanity to coexist harmoniously with nature and the planet.

CSSC will take the launch of the WinGD X92DF-M-1.0 methanol dual-fuel main engine as a new starting point, continuing to intensify research and development in low-carbon and zero-carbon power technologies. With industry-leading innovations, CSSC will drive the transformation of green marine power, providing the global shipping industry with green, intelligent, efficient, reliable, safe, and dependable marine engine products. The company will continue to lead the global shipbuilding industry toward green, intelligent, shared, and ecological development.

Prior to the launch ceremony, Wang Guoqiang visited the Lingang manufacturing base of CSSC Power, where he gained insights into the research, development, and manufacturing of methanol dual-fuel engines and listened to a report on the reform and development progress of CSSC Power.

Wang Guoqiang fully acknowledged the achievements of CSSC Power. He pointed out that CSSC Power should build on its transition from single manufacturing to integrated R&D, manufacturing, and services, as well as its shift from traditional single-fuel engines to green low-carbon multi-fuel engines. The company should strive to transform from traditional manufacturing to green intelligent manufacturing and from domestic leadership to global excellence.

Wang Guoqiang emphasized the need to build a fully independent and controllable powertrain centered on green, intelligent, shared, and ecological principles. He urged the company to steadfastly pursue digital transformation, integrating R&D, production, sales, and services through digital and intelligent logical frameworks and processes. He also highlighted that lean management is an endless journey, and all operations should continuously deepen lean management through standardization, digitization, visualization, and change monitoring. Additionally, he called for fostering a positive corporate culture, leveraging talent as the primary resource, and continuously shaping new momentum and advantages for development.
